Sheila B. is a dynamic creative force—an author, actress, writer, filmmaker, and director. A true Georgia native, she is also a devoted wife, mother of two, and a loving “GeGe” and "NannaBee" to her cherished grandchildren. Her journey began with service in the United States Army, shaping her resilience and strength. As a survivor of sexual assault, domestic violence, and cancer, Sheila channels her profound life experiences into her work, creating powerful connections with her audience.Sheila's gift for writing emerged in eighth grade with her first poem, “Sonny The Bee.” This passion rekindled in 2015 when she authored her debut book, Willow Silent Cries, offering readers a vivid glimpse into her childhood and young adulthood. Her remarkable ability to immerse readers in every scene is one of her most cherished talents. In 2013, Sheila made her on-screen debut in Taiwon Graves' short film, We Are One. She continued to build her acting repertoire, portraying a murder victim in, The Interview (2018) and landing her first speaking role in Second Birthday (2019), both directed by C. Nathaniel Brown. After these experiences, Sheila's passion shifted towards the creative process of filmmaking. She discovered her true calling behind the scenes, where her storytelling prowess truly shines.With each film, Sheila invites her audience on a unique and captivating journey, showcasing her distinct approach and style.Sheila B. on her creative philosophy:"My mind lives in the galaxy, so there is nothing that can get in my way.
