BIOGRAPHY

SHEILA BAILEY

Author, actress, screenwriter & director, Sheila Rena Bailey, better known as Sheila B., is a native of Buford, Georgia. She is the mother of two and Gege to one little grandlove. Sheila began her career with an enlistment to the United States Army. She is a survivor of sexual assault, domestic violence and cancer so there is certainly not a shortage of experiences to share with the world.

Sheila has always had the creative gift of writing which began with her first piece, "Sonny The Bee," written in her 8th grade Language Arts class. She would again use that gift in 2015, to write her first book Willow Silent Cries. Her book gives readers vivid scenes of her life as a child and a young adult. Sheila's ability to transport her readers is one of her most beautiful talents.

Sheila was given her first opportunity behind the camera in 2013, for the short film We Are One by Taiwon Graves. In 2018, she played a murder victim in The Interview, and in 2019, had her first speaking role in Second Birthday, both short films by

   C. Nathaniel Brown.

After this last film Sheila's desire for acting changed. She knew she didn't want to be in front of the camera; a passion for writing was the driving force to create behind the scenes. This was her sweet spot.

Sheila's a talented woman who gives the world a ride along adventure in each one of her films.

"My mind lives in the galaxy so there is nothing that can get in my way. All that space is waiting for me to fill it. Get ready!"

- Sheila B.
